Faith in the Cracks – Allowing God to seep into the cracks in our lives.

If you have listened to my podcast, then you know this news. I published a book! I did the self publishing route, so I paid money to Archway (part of Simon and Schuster) and they helped edit and did the illustrations, well, except the cover art – that was my daughter.

The book is about the death of my mom based on the questions that Sarah asked along the way. Grief is a common human experience yet we really do not talk much about it. This was a way to help kids understand that all the range of feelings are okay and they will be sad and then happy and then sad. My mom loved cardinals, so every time we see a red cardinal we think about Grandma Jo.
