For his birthday, we got our son tickets to the Dude Perfect tour. It was a lot of fun. Lots of music, sports, cheering, chanting and two hours of clean humor. I was interested however, that they did 2 endings to the show. They signed off with their signature, “Pound it, Noggin, See Ya!” and then they left the stage for about 5 minutes before coming back to talk about their faith.
I had seen reviews and there are people who do not like that they are using their platform to share the Good News of Jesus Christ. I however thought it was done really well. It wasn’t an altar call or if you don’t believe you are going to hell. It was testimony as to the role of faith in their lives and what they are trying to do to share the Good News and to care for others. I found it to be very down the middle and down to earth.
It was a fun family evening and I am grateful that my kids got to hear about faith from people other than their moms.
