Thoughts

  • There, I said it. This machismo bull about pulling yourself up by your own bootstraps doesn’t work. It actually has never worked. For one thing, we always stand on the shoulders of those who have gone before us. No single person has ever done EVERYTHING themselves. There is always someone who has paved a path,

There are several states which are working to pass anti drag queen legislation currently. This is aimed primarily at the drag queen story hours that various libraries have held. One response to “Thoughts”

  1. I admire your willingness to trust God, and venture out into a relatively unknown future. As someone who completely changed careers at age 53, I encourage you to continue to seek guidance from the Spirit and go for it wholeheartedly! Your new career is much more nebulous than mine, but I have every confidence that your talent and determination will pull you through the most difficult times. I knew when it was time for me to change. God will also lead you through each new step. It’s been my experience that He/She/They moves quickly and decisively. Enjoy the ride. I cannot wait to see what you will do.
